Theme:Servant Leadership
Brethren,
Hope your week has gone well.
Do you ever wonder why there is so much confusion in most societies? The answer is right here in our study this Sunday on Consequences of Failed Leadership. In this Sunday’s study, God reminds us that we ignore His clear written commands at our own risk.
Key Learning Points:
1. A life invested in sin (disobedience to God’s word) is the principal cause of leadership failure. And the consequences of an investment in sin have effect on both present and future generations of a leader’s family and people.
2. Leadership failure leads to the insidious growth and spread of sin in a people, leading to a disruption to the social and moral life of a nation.
3. God’s word clearly conveys the fact that He is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5 GW) and becomes angry in the face of willful disobedience, punishing leaders who disregard His word, and eventually the nation which is so misled by such a wayward leader.
See attached outline for your further reference.
Righteousness, indeed, does exult a nation.
