Key Learning Points
1. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne. Everything God does emanates from this principle. Therefore every definition of righteousness and justice should flow from Him and not from our human understanding or from any human system. He is righteous, His work is perfect and all His ways are just.
2. God’s attribute of righteousness and justice demands that evil is punished and good rewarded. And He alone can set the standards for judgment
3. Jesus Christ is the ultimate demonstration of God’s righteous and just attributes when He set forth Jesus as a propitiation by His blood through faith, hence we are now justified by faith in Jesus. That is why not believing in Jesus for justification is perhaps the greatest sin in God’s sight.
