Good evening Brothers and Sisters,

I attach a Bible Study Outline on “Victory over Mammon” which is the next in our Quarter series on “Strengthening our Faith” The main texts are Mathew 6:19-24 and 1 Timothy 6:6-10, 17-19.  The key learning points are:

1.     Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. 

2.     No one can serve two masters.  We CANNOT serve God and Mammon.

3.     Godliness with contentment is GREAT gain but the desire to be rich puts a person on a path to destruction

We continue with our series on Lesson from the Life of Jesus. This Sunday, we shall be looking at what we can learn from His Victory over Temptation.

Key Learning Points:

1.     The nature of temptation (and the tempter) is to cast doubt on the integrity and faithfulness of God, and to obscure our identity in Christ. “If you are the Son of God…”

2.     Jesus provides us a never-failing template for overcoming temptations.

3.     God made complete provision for us to overcome any and every temptations of the enemy.
