Good evening brother and sisters,

I have attached the next Bible Study outline in our Quarter series on Strengthening Our Faith.  The topic is dealing with sexual temptation.  The main texts are 1 Corinthians 6:12 to 20 and 1 Corinthians 10:13.  The key learning points are:

1.     Christ has set us free to do what God wants us to do, not to put ourselves again in bondage to sin that would destroy us.  We are not free to indulge in excess or sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:12)

2.     Sexual immorality is a uniquely dangerous sin that denies God’s authority over our bodies and defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. It is so dangerous that we are commanded to RUN from it (1Corinthians 6:18)

3.     We are not our own; we were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus.  Our “authentic self” is who God created and redeemed us to be – we are to glorify God in body and spirit which are His. (1 Corinthians 6:20)
