Welcome to the month of July. And to the beginning of a new quarter. 

Have you ever wondered why God described David as a man after His heart? Do you know what God meant by that statement? 

This quarter, our study series will be taking a look at the life of David, and lessons from his life. This Sunday, we kick off the quarter series with a look at the deceptiveness of appearances.

1. God does not look at the outward appearance, class, or status but at the heart, in His choice of vessels to use.
2. The disposition of a man’s heart determines the extent to which God can use him.
3. No one is beyond God’s reach. There is no one too lowly for Him to use for His glory.
