Theme: The Attributes of God
Brethren,
Last Sunday, we kicked off our quarter series on The Attributes of God with a look at His Self-Existent Attribute. One of the key lessons from that study is that Self-existence is exclusively and peculiar to God of the Christians.
This Sunday, we continue on the series with a look at The Attributes of God – Holiness (see attached outline).
Key Lessons include:
1. God is holy and His holiness is so glorious that heavenly beings do not rest day or night but continuously proclaim: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God almighty who was and is and is to come.
2. God’s holiness indicates His purity, integrity of moral character and He is in a class of His own, without parallel or equal. God is purer eyes to behold iniquity and in Him there is no evil or wickedness
3. A revelation of God’s holiness shows us our true state; yet God wants, expects, and commands that we be holy in all our conduct because He is holy.
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.
