Theme: Spiritual Discipline for Christian Growth
Dear All,
One crucial lesson which emerged from our last quarter studies on ‘The Certainty of God’s Word’ is that we have a role to play to appropriate God’s promises. This quarter, we shall be looking at Spiritual Discipline for Christian Growth to build on the gains of last quarter series. This Sunday, we kick off the series with a look at the topic: Devotion to the word.
Key lessons should include:
1. We need to cultivate certain spiritual habits to grow and mature as believers
2. God’s word is central to spiritual maturity and we must be ready to make the required investment of time and energy.
3. Our devotion to God’s word must include all the various disciplines of hearing, reading, studying, memorizing, meditating and applying for it to yield the desired result.
