Theme: The Certainty of God’s Word

Last Sunday we were reminded that God’s Promise of Peace is indeed a promise of Himself.
This Sunday, our topic is: God’s Promise of Provision.
Key lessons should include that:
- Jesus clearly commands us not to worry about the essentials of life: what to eat, drink and wear because worry would not achieve anything, not even as much as adding one minute to life. Worry rather causes depression.
- Rather, we are to trust Him as our Source for everything just as other created things of seemingly less value trust Him. If He gave up His son for us, He would also give us everything else.
- God’s promise to provide all our needs is hinged on seeking Him, His kingdom, and His righteousness and following Him in trust and obedience as a sheep follows the shepherd.
