Theme: Nehemiah: A Vessel of Restoration
Dear All,
Last Sunday, we looked at Nehemiah chapter 3. Our topic was Rebuilding the Wall. One of the key lessons from that study was that the glory and worship of God should be at the heart of every effort to build or rebuild the house of God.
This Sunday, our topic is: Overcoming Opposition.
Key lessons should include that:
- Doing the work of God will not exempt us from facing opposition.
- When we are faced with opposition, our first response should be to turn to God for help and to depend on Him to fight for us.
- As we depend on God to fight for us, we should not neglect to take the practical steps he leads or opens our eyes to take. Faith (prayer) and action do not contradict each other.
