Theme: The Acts of the Apostles
Dear All,
Last Sunday Philip showed us that an effective witness is all about preaching Jesus Christ.
This Sunday we shall be looking at another major character in the early Church – Saul. Our topic is Saul: Convicted and Converted.
Our key learning from this study should include:
1. The reach of God’s grace to save: That God’s grace can reach anyone, even the most vicious God-hater can be saved
2. Conversion comes through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, resulting in an acknowledgment of one’s rebellion against God and bowing to the Lordship of Christ.
3. That true conversion is of the heart but is accompanied by visible evidence of the transformation that is taking place internally.
May we daily see our need for Jesus Christ as we serve Him faithfully. Thank you for serving in this capacity. May God remember you for all that you are doing for Him and for His people.
