Theme:James: Faith in Action
Brethren,
Hope your week is going well?
We continue this Sunday on our quarter theme ‘James -Faith in Action.’ This time we shall be taking a look at worldliness and strife and how to overcome them.
Key Learning points are:
1. To overcome worldliness among believers, we must first recognize and acknowledge that the presence of worldliness and strife among us is indicative of a deeper need to recognize and submit to the Lordship of Christ over us. (James 4:1-5)
2. We must humbly submit to God and resist the devil (James 4:7).
3. We must pray for wisdom to build up our brothers and sisters; and forgive them instead of quarrelling and slandering.
